The Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) certification course has specific prerequisites that individuals must meet to enroll and pursue the certification. As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, the prerequisites for the CAP certification course include:
1. Work Experience: Candidates are required to have a minimum of two years of cumulative, paid, full-time work experience in one or more of the seven domains of the (ISC)² CAP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK). These domains include:

- Categorization of Information Systems
