Degree Requirements
Courses, exams, and credit points determine when you become eligible for a degree, and the platform tracks them automatically. Eligibility is the first step. Qualified faculty then review your record, and at the Master's and Doctoral levels they also examine your original research and hear your defense in person.
These are the minimums for review eligibility. Meeting them does not by itself confer a degree.

Automated tools help us score standardized assessments and check technical work at scale. They cannot judge whether a piece of research advances its field, so that judgment always rests with human scholars.
Academic Review by Degree Level

How a Degree Is Conferred
- Eligibility. The platform flags your program when you meet the course, certificate, question, and credit-point minimums.
- Integrity check. We verify your identity and review your record for academic integrity concerns.
- Faculty review. Faculty assess your graded work, and for graduate degrees, your research submission.
- Examination. Master's and Doctoral candidates defend their work before a panel of examiners. The panel may pass, require revisions, or decline the work.
- Academic Board approval. The Academic Board confirms that every requirement has been met and that the process was followed.
- Conferral. The degree is awarded and added to your record.
If a decision goes against you, you can request a written explanation and ask for a review by faculty who were not involved in the original decision.
Academic Standards and Faculty
Govur University confers degrees at the Associate, Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral levels. Each degree records verified learning, assessed work, and sustained progress within a defined program, and each is approved by people qualified to judge it.
We invest in recruiting and retaining strong scholars. Faculty supervise research, sit on examination panels, and set the standards for each discipline. At the doctoral level we also bring in independent external examiners, so that no candidate is judged only by the people who taught them.
Coursework and exams are evaluated continuously, and automated tools support that work where they are reliable. Where judgment is required, such as originality, rigor, and significance, faculty make the call. Every credential we award is earned, consistent, and reviewed by people accountable for it.
