It can weaken engine components such as the pistons, cylinders head and valves, making them more susceptible to cracking and failure increasing the risk of costly repairs. It can also damage, lubricating oil quickly, engine seals, gaskets leading to leaks of oil and coolant. It affects the combustion process that becomes less efficient, resulting to loss of power output, and incresing the fuel consumption. While overcooling on the other hand also affects the combustion process becomming less efficiency, leading to increased emissions and reduced power. It increased the friction within the engine due to the condensation formed inside the engine , leading to corrosion and sludge build up”
