Its purpose is to ensure safe, stable, and efficient movement of teh vehicle alogn the track. It carries the weight of te vehicle and vehcilce body distributes it across multiple axles. Reduces stress on the track and impoves stabiity. It allows teh wheels to pivot slightly, helping the train navigate curves smoothly. It minimizes the lateral forces and reduces wear on wheels and rails. It is equipped with primary and secondary suspension systsms that absorbs shcoks and vibrations from track irregularities . It houes traction motors and brake systems that provides acceleration and braking for the vehcicel. Maintains propeor wheel -rail contact and alignement.
